Life I moved from Michigan in 1972. I finishted college at Eastern New Mexico University where I met the man I married and divorced 20 years later. I have 2 sons, grown and on their own now. One is in construction and is divorced. No grandkids. The youngest is graduated from college with majors in computers and electrical engineering. He has worked construction with his brother summers and breaks. He has been with the same young woman for 5 years. When my boys were small I went back to school- nursing school- and have been working as a nurse ever since. I had found there is no work for a BS in Anthropology except waitressing et al. When people ask me where I have worked, I say it would be easier to say where I haven't worked as a nurse in Northern New Mexico in the last 20+ years. When the boys were young I worked to accomidate their schedules. Because I worked for an agency for many years I have worked in many places and found permanent placements at times. The past couple of years I am working at the Las Vegas Medical Center. It is a State Hospital. I work in one of the long term care facilities. I have found over the past 22 years that I am very good at long term care. The LVMC has very good benifits and retirement, as it is a State job. I love New Mexico and never consider returning to Michiga...Expand for more
